what is veliten medication used for and indication?

Used in:

  • Functional manifestations of veno-lymphatic insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, primo-decubitus of impatience)
  • The symptomatic treatment of functional disorders of capillary fragility,
  • The treatment of functional signs associated with hemorrhoidal crisis
  • Decreases in acuity and visual field disturbances presumed to be of vascular origin.

  • Usual dose: 1 tablet 3 times a day
  • Hemorrhoidal crisis: 2 tablets 3 times a day for 7 days. If there is no rapid improvement, consult your doctor.
  • IN ALL CASES STRICTLY COMPLY WITH THE ORDER OF YOUR DOCTOR.

  • If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients of VELITEN, film-coated tablet.

how does veliten work?

  • Pharmacotherapeutic group: vasculoprotective, venotonic.
  • It increases the resistance of the vessels, decreases their permeability and causes vasoconstriction.
  • Rutin is one of the vitamin P factors.
  • The combination of this vitamin P factor and ascorbic acid potentiates their pharmacodynamic effects on the capillaries, increasing resistance and decreasing their permeability (action on the capillary resistance of the guinea pig).

  • Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

  • Experimental studies carried out with rutin in animals have not produced any evidence of a teratogenic effect. In humans, in the absence of precise clinical data, the risk is not known.

At high doses (greater than 1 g / day of ascorbic acid) possibility of:

  • Digestive problems (heartburn, diarrhea)
  • Urinary disorders (stones oxalate, cystine and urate)
  • Haemolysis in subjects with G6PD deficiency.

Rutoside (DCI) or rutin 200 mg
